Descripción: Snap.svg es una librería JavaScript para crear, animar e interactuar con SVG en navegadores modernos. En esta sesión, aprenderás cómo empezar a trabajar con esta librería a través de algunas demos introductorias, para luego ver algunos inspiradores ejemplos de Snap.svg en acción en el mundo real.
Outcome: Al final del workshop, los asistentes serán capaces de interactuar con elementos básicos de SVG usando la librería Snap.svg. Idealmente los proyectos que resulten del workshop tendrán valor periodístico de manera que podamos seguir construyendo notas basadas en gráficos interactivos durante el hackathon.
Necesidades: WIFI y proyector con adaptador de pantalla para MacBook.

Description: Snap.svg is a JavaScript library for creating, animating, and interacting with SVG in modern browsers. In this session, you’ll learn how to get started, work through some introductory demos, and then see some inspiring “in the wild” examples of Snap.svg in action.
Outcome: By the end of the workshop, attendees will be able to interact with basic SVG elements using the Snap.svg library. Ideally the projects that come out of the workshop will have some journalistic value – so we could continue building news-driven interactive graphics during the hackathon.
Requirements: WIFI and a projector with MacBook display adaptor.
