IN ENGLISH
Description: Responsible data for journalism
What does 'responsible data' mean in the context of journalism? How can we tell stories in an ethical way? We'll come up with a checklist of questions to consider when carrying out a data-driven journalism project, addressing topics such as:
- where does the data come from?
- what assumptions and biases are in the data?
- is the data being visualised in a representative way? "

Outcome: We expect to come out with a checklist or series of questions to consider when carrying out a data-driven project: this could be expanded or applied to a data driven project happening during the hackathon, for example.

Target: Hackers, software developers/ Desarrolladores y tecnólogos, Hacks, Journalists, editors / Periodistas, editores, Social, Data Activists/ Activistas Sociales, de datos
Ideally, people who want to or who have worked on data driven journalism stories, who can come and share their experiences with working with data - especially those who have faced ethical considerations during their projects.

Needs: an open space, with post it notes and somewhere we can put them up on a wall.We expect to come out with a checklist or series of questions to consider when carrying out a data-driven project: this could be expanded or applied to a data driven project happening during the hackathon, for example.
