Pilar Frank O'Leary is IWMF's Director of Strategic Engagement. She is charged with leveraging and growing the organization's base of institutional and philanthropic partners; helping lead new strategic initiatives for the IWMF such as our Reporta™ journalism security app; and facilitating our entrance into new regions such as Latin America and other markets, in the years to come. Prior to joining IWMF, O'Leary was an international policy advisor for Facebook and other organizations. She has worked in a range of capacities including as an attorney, business analyst and not-for-profit executive director for leading organizations including Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Fannie Mae, the United Nations and the Smithsonian. O'Leary received a Bachelors of Science in Western European Studies and French with a minor in Honors English from Georgetown University where she also received her Juris Doctor. She is a member of Georgetown's Entertainment and Media Alliance and serves on a number of not-for profit boards. She is fluent in French, Spanish and English and proficient in Italian and Portuguese.
